To forge, or not to forge?

Hi!

This time we wanted to enchant you (pun intended) with something other than just creating your own spells. We have already talked about spellcrafting in W.A.N.D. Project, but this is not the only aspect of magic in our game. So this time we're going to shed some light on forge mechanics!

Forge is your ticket to enhancing spells

To the left of the spellcrafting screen, you'll find the Forge panel. Initially, it's perfectly fine to disregard it and head straight to the shop, but its utility becomes apparent soon enough.

When you possess two modules with the same name and tier, you can merge them into a single module of a higher tier. Or you can merge two different modules with the same tier together, to get one more powerful but random. Best of all, forging is free

!

There are several reasons why you should consider forging:

  • Save space:  Often, the latest and most powerful module may not be enough when you're constrained by space. Forging allows you to consolidate power efficiently.
  • Maintain the perfect shape:  When forging, you can choose one of the shapes from the lower-tier modules used. This ensures that the new module seamlessly fits into your existing spell structure.
  • Adjust the retrigger:  Sometimes, you may have a preference for one retrigger over another. Forging empowers you to select the retrigger you want to inherit.
  • Keep cooldown low:  Each module increases the caster's cooldown by a small percentage. Having fewer modules in a spell translates to faster shooting.
  • Upscale statistics:  Higher-tier modules are inherently more powerful. It's essential to note that you can also carry over the "+" quality to the higher-level module.

And the most important piece of advice - keep experimenting and have fun! We'll have even more news soon, so follow us on Twitter and join our Discord.
